What therapy can help with

When life feels heavier than it should

While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life.

By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Whether you're looking for support through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction, I look forward to working with you to reach your goals.

Therapy is for people with enough self-awareness to know they need a helping hand, and that is something to be admired.

My approach

Interactive and solution-focused

My approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help you address personal life challenges. I combine complementary methods, including cognitive-behavioral and reality-based therapy, to fit you.

I've also helped people with trauma from childhood and domestic abuse. You'll get more from therapy by taking an active part, so I may suggest something to do between sessions, like reading or journaling.

Therapy can help you:

  • Understand yourself, your goals and your values
  • Learn new ways to cope with stress and anxiety
  • Improve your self-esteem and confidence
  • Change old patterns and build new ones

Schedule
How long are sessions?

30, 45 or 60 minutes ($60, $100 or $125). The first visit is an initial diagnostic interview ($125).

How long will I need therapy?

It depends on your needs. Therapy can be short-term, for a specific issue, or longer-term, for more difficult patterns or personal growth.

Will I need medication?

Not necessarily. Working with your doctor, you can decide what's right for you. Sometimes a combination of medication and therapy works best.
